Growing Love Through Kindness- Day 3 (Jan. 3, 2026)

Hello, my wonderful friends. Happy Saturday!

What a day. I started with a 2-mile self-care walk, followed by a 1-mile neighborhood cleanup walk—garbage bag in hand. Within five blocks, it was full. A great way to show love to myself and our community.

Then came the fun part: I donned my Captain Kindman shirt and cape and headed to Walmart. Yes, I did!

I met some truly wonderful people and handed out Kindness Hero Thank You Cards (KHTYCs) along with Kindness Worldwide See the Good cards. Three Walmart employees lit up when I recognized them for their friendliness, cheerfulness, and kindness. I challenged each of them to pass two cards along—recognizing someone else and inviting them to do the same. Instant kindness ripples.

I also had the privilege of talking with Judi, Nancy, Amber and Ella, Dido, Elexis, Melissa, Allie, Dallas, and Aubrie. When I asked them to share something amazing—thanks to Michael Ray 💛😁 for that line—they were more than happy to do so.

Judi was a joy. She’s 80 years old, a mother of eight, and a grandmother of 44. You could feel the love radiating from her as she spoke about her family. 

Melissa, a caregiver, carried that same love. Allie and Dallas were a young couple, and their daughter Aubrie was an absolute sweetheart—thrilled to tell her classmates she met Captain Kindman. (Yes, I blushed.)

The biggest takeaway? Every single person recognized the world’s deep need for more love and gladly accepted the challenge to help spread it. They were also happy to share their smiles for photos after learning about the Growing Love Through Kindness project.

My friends, the world is hungry for love. Kindness is love in action—love’s delivery system. Research confirms what our hearts already know: kindness improves our mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
